In his speech delivered at the opening ceremony on Wednesday evening, Da Nang People’s Committee Vice Chairman Ho Ky Minh expressed his delight at the participation of the domestic and foreign businesses in the city’s leading trade event.

Vice Chairman Minh highlighted that the annual fair was the good opportunity for countries along the EWEC to introduce their development achievements and potential of trade, investment and tourism, as well as to access consumers, promote trade and seek business partnerships.

Within the framework of the fair, a seminar to discuss ways to promote supply-demand links, along with training courses on trade promotion policies and enhancing the management capacity, will be organised for trade promotion organisations in Central Viet Nam and Central Highlands.

This year’s fair runs until 23 November, and admission is free of charge for all visitors.
